Day 36 - What Do You Do When the Well Runs Dry

My assignment, self-imposed, is to write daily in this blog for entire year, 365 days in a row.  So far, I have only missed a day or two.  Today however, I have come up empty.  I browsed my Reader account and read a number of articles but nothing has struck my fancy as the saying goes.  Sure I could send you to a list of 25 Facebook entrepreneurial pages to add to your profile but all honesty I don't think adding more clutter to your home page would be all that beneficial. I think in most cases our problems come not from lack of inspiration but from too much distraction.

Lack of direction and focus have been my biggest challenge.  Every email that I open and every link I jump to takes me farther away from completing a previous choice or task.  So even though I might find the Ladies Who Launch page interesting, most likely it would keep me from doing what I should not encourage me to do it.

Where do we draw the line?

Today, I write and work on winning the ContestBurner Tell-A-Friend contest.  Why? Because if I win the first prize I will win the Ultimate ContestBurner License and professional help with the set up and promotion of my own contest.  That's my goal today.  What is yours?
