Day 21 - Oops, I missed a day. Using Evernote to Journal

My failure to write yesterday is a perfect bad example of my 100 Day Challenge lesson for today.  The topic was Discipline and I must admit that discipline has never been a topic I liked to discuss, especially when the word "self" is placed in front of it.

Yet, I am venturing into new things this year so maybe now is the time to learn some self-discipline.

One of the assignments I have given myself is to journal daily and record the lessons I get both from my time of personal meditation and my challenge lessons.

To do this I added (or updated) a folder in my Evernote journal.

I love Evernote for keeping notes on possible article topics, taking notes during live web meetings, saving interesting pictures, etc.  They don't offer an affiliate program.. so this unsolicited testimony has no ulterior motives.

So why not use it to keep a daily journal?

It has great search capabilities so I can easily find what I thought or wrote about any topic and know where I found an article because I record the URL at the time I note the thought.

Cool thing Evernote.  I used the free version so much I maxed it out and decided it was well worth the small monthly charge.
