Day 25 - The Farther I Go, the Be-hinder I Get

Yesterday we drove to Mexicali to take care of insurance business so I came to the blog today thinking that I was going to be a day behind..... only to find that I was TWO days behind.  How does the time get away from me like that?

Consistency is one of the cardinal rules in the 100 Day Challenge so I am not setting a very good example but Perseverance is another so here I push on even when I have failed.

Today in my Challenge 2010 lesson I reviewed what to do with failure on another front: what do you do with blogs that just aren't going anywhere?  The answer given was put them up for sale on Flippa.

My question is why would someone want to buy a site that isn't making any money?  Good question, but evidently folks will because I have reviewed the sites that are selling and even sites that are not making any claims to traffic or sales are selling.  So who am I to judge why people are willing to pay good money for a site that shows no income.

Evidently there is a good market for sites that are already up and running if you have built the site around good keywords and have it SEO optimized.

I am having second thoughts about my decision to not upgrade my WordpressDirect account though as it looks like Marty has taken the pain out of transferring a site to a new owner.  Will have to give that another look.
