Day 53 - Staying On Track

Back in September (the 12th to be exact) I made myself (and you my readers) a commitment to compose and post something of value or interest each day to my Blogger blog, and at that time I renamed the blog to 365 Days in the Life of a Blogger.  As noted in the title of this article, today is day 53 of that task.
At the beginning of October I committed to completing a course called The 100 Day Challenge.  The 100 Day Challenge is not directed specifically to blogging, marketing, or business ventures for that matter.  It is a goal centric program to aid anyone to achieve any goal they choose, whether it be improve their marriage, be a better parent, get a job or promotion, or earn a specific amount of money within that 100 days.
What ever the goal, this challenge provides lessons to help the participant to define their goals and put together a plan to achieve those goals.  I am on day 39 of this program.
As part of the program, we are assigned a task of doing a weekly progress report (to ourselves).
I wrote down five goals when I started.  Of the five, I have made progress on three or four and totally ignored the fifth.
What has become evident to me is that the 5th goal was one I felt I SHOULD pursue but not won I am at all motivated to work on.
One of my goals required me to learn to speak Spanish fluently.  To do this I have been working on LiveMocha.com and at least until this last weekend I was doing it pretty consistently.  Two days on the road and two in a seminar has put a bump in the road but tomorrow, I will get back into my routine.
One of my goals has been to write and post at least one article daily.  As you have witnessed, I missed a couple of days on that but I am back at it.
My number one goal is centered on my spiritual life and that has been the one I have been most faithful in staying in the groove.  Thank you God.
The last of the four focuses on building a profitable online business.  The trip to Vegas was part of that task and I think it was time well spent in spite of the fact that it through my other plans a bit off kilter.   I am not confident that I have found a product that I can market with confidence and not compromise my integrity.
If you want to learn more about that you can find a wealth of information at ComF5 The Solution.
